MARSH VILLAGE STRONGHOLD KINGDOMS PLUS
The limit of only 3 food types does not at all hinder the actual honour gain throughout the village and you can put all faith buildings, plus enough buildings to be proficient in food/ale/weapons/stone/iron/pitch/wood and still have space left over for a few banqueting buildings. The copious amounts of wood/stone/iron make it a wonderful production village, not to mention the pitch production. Highlands are what i see as the best village type. You can select the type of village you’d like when you send a captain to buy a village charter. You do not know how many times a monker has gone into a warzone thinking he will do his business, only to wake up the next day with 8 less villages because he is horrible at everything NOT monking. The first village you start with is a ‘Lowland’ type village, however to place a vineyard you will need a ‘Valley Side’ type village, to place a pitch rig you will need either a ‘Highland’ or ‘Marsh’ type village. You must be proficient in everything to be successful.

You need to focus a bit more on one aspect of the game but in no way should you focus all of your energy and time towards being a "monker" or a "fighter". I also speak strongly against the "different types" of players. You should have enough space for all church buildings in ALL of your villages and it should always be the first thing you build. The monker and plains argument makes almost no sense. It is a waste of troops to pillage anything but weapons. In The Third Age/Third Eras 30 villages may be acquired, in The Fourth Age/Fourth Eras 40 villages may be acquired.I war pretty hard and i never pillage stockpile. TIP: Research points are earned for each sub-rank, in addition to each full rank. TIP: Ranks with multiple sub-ranks require you to work through them before you can acquire the next rank. Ranking up also opens new designs for use in players' Coat of Arms. Each promotion gives the user 3 Research points to use for new technologies and skills, as well as allowing access to branches of Research which were previously unavailable. As well as increasing the number of vassals each Lord may have, it also opens the Research to own more Villages. The cost, in honour, of promoting through the ranks increases at each new rank title. From the rank of Knight there is a choice of masculine or feminine titles, the form of title given will depend on the gender the player selects for their avatar. There are 23 different Ranks in total, each of which has sub-ranks within. When beginning the game, all players start at the same Rank, Village Idiot.
